SYL offers a spring recreation and competitive league as well as a short fall ball season. Teams are organized by grades and location, focused on the Spokane South Hill, North Side and the Spokane Valley. Registration typically occurs the month of January for the spring recreational and competitive leagues. Fall ball registration is usually in September.
Timetable: Teams for our spring league are finalized by March. Practices begin in March based on field availability. League games start after Spring Break and run through early June. Fall Ball is a fun practice/play format generally held 3/4 Sundays in October. All SYL teams will play at the local Spokane Laxfest which is held at Dwight Merkel Sports Complex in early June.
Practices & Games: Spring recreational team practices are held 2-3 days per week depending on the team. Location will be in your area of town. Your team coach will notify you of practice dates, times, and location. Game days will be either Wednesday evening or Sunday afternoons.
