Best Ball Classic Golf Tournament

You're invited to join us for the 13th Annual Spokane Sports Commission Best Ball Classic Golf Tournament, September 16 & 17. With the ongoing support of our sponsors and players, we play each year with a full field of golfers, hand out $8,500 in prizes, and raises funds for the Sports Commission's Advance Sports Grant Program, which provides financial grants to strengthen regional sports clubs. This tournament continues to be a huge success because of the ongoing support of our community.

Tournament Format

2-Day/2-Person Best Ball Format

Entry Fee

$700 per team/$350 per person

Event Details

  • Maximum Handicap is 28 per player
  • Maximum 8 stroke handicap gap per team
  • No age or gender limitations
  • Verifiable handicaps required for payouts
  • Over $8500 in payouts for tournament champions
  • 2 Flights/1st–4th place payouts in gross and net
  • Field is limited to 128 players to increase speed of play.

Sunday, September 17

8–10am, Complimentary Buffet

10am, Shotgun Start for Final Round

Appetizers, raffles, and awards immediately following.

Player Fees include: greens fees, use of the driving range, breakfast both days, golf carts, tournament prizes, and player's reception and awards ceremony.

Circling Raven Golf Course has consistently been rated as one of the top Resort courses in the country, and was named the Best Casino Course in America by Golfweek Magazine in 2008. The 7,189 yard, par 72 course meanders through 620 visually stunning acres adjoining the Coeur d’Alene National Forest. Wildlife is abundant, including elk, deer, moose and an occasional black bear. You will see why this course remains home to this tournament, year-after-year.
