Spokane, Washington is proud to host athletes and officials for the 2018 USATF Masters Outdoor Championships. Spokane has a long history as a running community and is dedicated to providing the best experience possible for athletes and fans.

Officials & Volunteers

A great championship is dependent on the hard work of dedicated officials and volunteer staff. We are working hard to develop the best championship team possible and are now accepting applications. If you are interested in volunteering in 2018, please complete the online application.


About Spokane, Washington

Spokane, serves as a shopping, entertainment, sports, and medical hub for the Pacific Northwest. We are home to Lilac Bloomsday, the one of the largest timed road race in the nation, as well as Hoopfest, the largest three-on-three street basketball tournament in the world. Ironman is held each year in beautiful Coeur d’Alene, Idaho—just a 30-minute drive away. We are home to Gonzaga Bulldogs, Eastern Eagles, and Washington State Cougars. Here in Spokane, sports reign supreme.


Getting Here

Getting here is easy. Located along the I-90 corridor, Spokane is a simple drive from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Western Montana, and southern portions of Alberta and British Columbia. Flights are plentiful to Spokane International Airport (GEG) and Downtown Spokane is a quick 10-minute drive from the Airport.

Roos Field is located on the campus of Eastern Washington University in Cheney, Washington. Cheney is an easy 20 minute drive just west of downtown Spokane.

Championship Hotel


Free shuttles are available to-and-from the airport. Individuals can contact hotel to make arrangements for Airport shuttles. In addition, free shuttles to/from the competition venue will be provided.
