USA Boxing National Championships Comes to Spokane

March 31–April 6, 2013, The HUB Sports Center and Northern Quest Resort & Casino

USA Boxing has partnered once again with Northern Quest Resort & Casino and Spokane Sports Commission to hold the 2013 U.S. Boxing National Championships, the premier Olympic-style boxing event in the United States. In addition to hosting in 2013, Northern Quest Resort & Casino has signed on to host these championships for a total of four back-to-back years. This year, the championship will take place April 1–April 6 with athletes arriving as early as Saturday, March 30. Preliminary bouts will be held at The HUB Sports Center in the Spokane Valley, with semi-finals and finals concluding at Northern Quest on Friday and Saturday.

For the second straight year, The USA Boxing National Championship will be an open tournament in both the men's and women's division. This tournament will determine the USA's international travel team for 2013.

This event will bring between 300–500 athletes to the region for up to 7-days. Not only does this bring in outside tourism dollars to the region but further expands Spokane's resume for national level sports events.
